The Florida Chapter of the Association of
Professional Genealogists was formed in 2004 with the dual missions of promoting the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in the genealogical field at the regional level and providing
its members an opportunity for professional growth through networking, education and interaction with other professionals.
Our current chapter membership is made up of researchers, writers, lecturers, educators, librarians, family historians, and others in fields related to family history. They live in Vero Beach, Orlando, Jacksonville, High Springs, Malabar, Bradenton, Boynton Beach, Lakeland, Port Richey, The Villages, Tallahassee, Delray Beach, and in points between.
